QuickBooks Online is suited for your startup and new company. You do not need to bother with any technical issue during installation into a computer.
A reliable internet connection is a must to access it with your browser. Please keep in mind:
 

  • Intuit provides many QuickBooks Online versions to choose. For Indonesian company, we recommend you to use Global or International version. Despite Global or International version has the least features compare to the other ones, it supports recording PPN Keluaran and PPN Masukan for an Indonesian-based company.
     

  • QuickBooks Online has less features than QuickBooks Desktop. If you need to implement certain features and/or add-on's, ensure you already have tried it first. As a QuickBooks reseller in Indonesia and Asia, we may assist you to purchase or subscribe to any available add-on's.
     

  • Currently, you have to subscribe by a monthly payment using a credit card. You may visit and explore this following link https://quickbooks.grsm.io/indonesia. If you mind sharing your credit card to Intuit, you may pay it annually by bank transfer to our account. We will subscribe it on your behalf to Intuit. Please notify us should you interest to pay it by monthly with certain terms and conditions.

  • You are only allowed to set up for one company. If you need to maintain two companies, you have to subscribing two separate accounts as well.

  • Intuit own your data and has the right to explore it to improve their product and/or service. 
     

  • You are not allowed to download your data. You will need a 3rd party backup application, or conversion tools once you need migrating your data into QuickBooks Desktop later.

7 Ideas you should need to know when considering QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Desktop is suited for any kind of business of your company. Intuit provides three versions to choose (US, UK, and Canadian) and each version has three editions as well (Pro, Premier, and Enterprise).
Please keep in mind:

 

  • For Indonesian company, we recommend you to use US version. Each version is not compatible to each other. If you need UK or Canadian version to implement in your office for some reason, we may help you to provide the license as well. If your institution is a nonprofit one, you must submit the request to own the license with a very special price.
     

  • You could upgrade and convert your file of QBW from Pro or Premier to Enterprise. If your version is too old (more than five to seven years old), you may need our service to upgrade or convert it.
     

  • You are not allow to downgrade your file of QBW from Enterprise to Pro or to Premier. You have to purchase a 3rd party conversion for this request.
     

  • Once you need to access your QuickBooks Desktop by internet like QuickBooks Online, you should consider deploying the QuickBooks Private Cloud.
     

  • Currently, Pro or Premier edition provides a perpetual license. You do not need to renew each year and only eligible to get any patch update for some years ahead.
     

  • You may migrate your file of QBW to QuickBooks Online and still keep it for good.

Intuit provides 2 (two) kinds of certification: (i) ProAdvisor, managed by Intuit; and (ii) QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU), managed by Certiport. ProAdvisor is highly required for an accountant to assist a US-based company using QuickBooks. If you as a mere user want to validate your QuickBooks knowledge, you should have a digital badging of QBCU. You could choose to take an individually exam for (i) QuickBooks Online – Global version, or (ii) QuickBooks Online – US version, or (iii) QuickBooks Desktop – US version.

System Design

In order to get the most out of QuickBooks, it is crucial that your system is designed and set up properly from the beginning. By conducting a thorough needs analysis, we can generate a detailed system design that meets both your immediate and long-term goals. Our goal is to optimize your system to generate the KPIs, financial reports and management reports you need to make strategic business decisions.

 

File Setup and Internal Controls

During the file setup stage, we will configure QuickBooks either on your local network or in a secure cloud environment and set up user access. If you take our on-demand training, we could guide you from scratch to set up your file based on the implementation plan we developed for you, such as setting up a customized Chart of Accounts, Lists, Preferences / Settings, Forms, Taxes, Templates, Inventory, Memorize Reports, Fixed Assets, and more. If we are importing data from your previous accounting software, we could recommend you with a 3rd party software.

 

Third Party and Custom Applications

If during the planning stage we determine that you will need a 3rd party app, we will implement those after we get your base QuickBooks file setup. If you’re using QuickBooks Enterprise, this could be as straightforward as turning on and setting up Intuit’s Advanced Inventory or Reporting Add-On. We can also handle more complex situations that require a custom developed application or integration with external systems. These custom applications are owned by you and build off of Intuit’s API.

 

Reporting and Automation

Once we have got your QuickBooks file and any supporting apps & integrations set-up, we take it further by automating various data-entry tasks and generating reports. You should take our training class to let us show you how to generate reports, set-up automation, or build any custom report your need so that you get the most out of your QuickBooks data.
